Ok, me and a bud are looking at 3 trucks, one is an 85 350 with a 7.3 swapped in, cclb, 4x4, c6, centurion, next is an 86 250 4x4, 6.9 4 speed with an ats turbo kit, sclb, and last is an 87 f250 7.3, 4x4 5 speed, has snow plow on front. Both 85 and 86 are in good shape with minimal rust and good interiors, and run good, the 87 is rusted out pretty bad from the plow, but runs good and has brand new starter.

We can buy all 3 for 3500 dollars, do you guys think this is a good deal

Not a bad deal. The 7.3 IDI's are prone to cavitation but the 6.9's are not. Turbo would be worth about $500 on Ebay, if you're thinking about parting them out. Not going to be power houses, but an IDI in good mech. shape will pull a house down, but will take all day to do it.

The 7.3 that was swapped in is an idi 7.3, it looks like it was in the truck from the factory, and it had a 6.9 from the factory, but what threw me off about it is that it has TTB instead of solid axle, and it is def an F350, and the TTB is stock.

Plans are to sell the plow truck maybe, me get the 6.9, and my bud get the centurion. I just want it for pullin trailers, and since it already has a turbo, i am good to go there, but may put it on his 7.3 and buy a banks sidewinder for the 6.9. Banks website shows 260 hp at the wheels and 503 ft/lbs of torque with the sidewinder on the 6.9, so that may be the route i go. And the 6.9 truck only has alittle rust over the fender wells, and rest of body and frame are good, so thinkin patch panels on the bed, and a paint job, then solid axle instead of ttb in the front, but we shall see if it all goes through, and if i get one of the jobs i am going for for money for the project, and then put the stroker motor aside for right now since my engine runs fine.

Not Yet, he sold the plow truck the night before the snow the other week, so still negotiating a new price, will post up when we get them or if we decide not to.
