I plan on swapping out the interior on my new 95 for power everything. Having crank windows kills me and having to open the pass door by leaning across the seat just plain sucks. So, I already have a 40/20/40 bench seat that will be going in.

For the doors Im going to the local pnp to get a set of xlt power doors, im just going to swap all the parts directly in. But does anyone know about wiring? Will an xl truck have the haness already installed in the cab so I can just plug and play, or will I have to just get one from the donor truck?

Pics on the way soon :tooth

The XLT truck has an extra harness for the power doors.
It is up high on the firewall, near the defroster ducts, so removing a whole dash is the only way of getting to it.
I tried to pull one of these harnesses for my truck, figuring I may as well install the harness so I can install PM PW later on down the road.
The problem I had is the harness doesn't have a disconnect at the driver door, it might be inside the door?

Also the harness for the power lumbar has connectors that are behind the steering column support, so getting these from the same truck is helpful.

Duke, if you want, you can always chop off the plug on the trucks harness inside the cab, and run the wires to the correct places, instead of changing the WHOLE harness.

Pulling the dash doesn't take all that long. Around 30 minutes. I say, just pull it, and get the harness. That way you don't have to try to chase down wiring demons when you're trying to get your power windows and locks to work. :headbang

The harness'es from the doors plug into plugs RIGHT behind the kick panel. They are grey plugs, usually 6 pin plugs, 2 rows of 3. IIRC Your truck will have the plugs at LEAST if you have speakers in the doors.

Here is the routing, harness goes into white clips near windscreen.
There's also a few Chritmas tree clips
Note the 2 grey connectors, these are my XL doors, and the black connector is for the fan.

Green block represents the gray connector on the subharness that connects to the dash.
Yellow block represents the black disconnect for the passenger door, the driver door does not have an inside connector like this.
